For the beginners, Linux might be a little hard as most of the users are used to Windows which is a relatively easy operating system. But if you know some basic commands then you can also use them efficiently. Some of the basic commands are:

cd: If you want to jump from one directory to another directory quickly then you can use the cd command. One thing you must know that the commands are case sensitive and you need to type exactly the same spelling to reach the specific directory. For example “cd Desktop”.
touch: If you want to create a new folder to organize your data then you can use the touch command. The format can be of your choices like a txt file or zip file.
man: command is basically a manual or help command that you can use to know the other command’s purpose. For example, if you are confused to use the Is command then you can just type man Is and you can get the information regarding the command.
cp: This command helps you to copy the data over the command line. You need the source and destination to execute the command successfully.
mv: command is used to move the data through the command line. For example, if you want to move the data from the desktop to downloads, then you can use the mv command.
sudo: It is just like an administrator command. So whenever the operation required the high-level authorization or you are not being able to extract the desired result then you can use sudo command. sudo is also known as SuperUserDo.
